During our expansion to the European area, we have realized that further work needs to be conducted in order to establish what is to become a fully operational IN4IT organization in Europe. The central board of IN4IT has therefor decided during the last board meeting that IN4IT under no circumstances will risk our establishment in Europe just because we have not clearly understood everything needed to sort out the situation. Many people at IN4IT has worked hard to get the appropriate authorities in Europe to understand the severity of establishing a European IN4IT office and most of our endeavours has succeeded, no doubt about that. However, in the recently added light, brought upon us during our meeting with the European Commission, the board of IN4IT now realizes that some work yet needs to be done.
The IN4IT board has therefor authorized the IN4IT establishing committee to prolong the establishment period with yet another 1.5 years. Of course this is in some sense a cutback, but it also proves that IN4IT is a serious and professional organization that realizes that risk elimination is of significant importance in order to establish a new IN4IT office and with true success.
IN4IT want to thank all IN4IT members for all their support and especially the IN4IT co-workers who so much has put so much work into the establishment of the new IN4IT office in Europe. No one could ever oversee this, so no one can never be blamed. IN4IT is on the move and IN4IT will succeed.
